BPMpro announces 2019 sponsorship deal with SportsMedics

Marking a return to its roots in sports medicine assessment, BPMpro has announced a sponsorship deal with SportsMedics Ltd. for 2019.

BPMpro technology originally developed in the sports medicine sector before being applied as a Class 1 Medical Device to orthopaedic rehabilitation in the form of BPMpathway. Despite its current post-surgical focus, BPMpro technology has continued to be widely used in elite sports including by Manchester City FC, Watford FC, Aspetar Qatar, EIS, the NBA and MLS.

The upcoming launch of the Version 2 BPMpro Data Logger and Professional Sensor will see BPMpro technology once again being actively promoted among professional and elite sports. The sponsorship deal with SportsMedics is aimed at re-establishing brand awareness and promoting BPMpro technology at high-level sporting events.

SportsMedics provide tailored high-level medical treatment at elite sporting and mass participation events. They provide experienced and highly trained doctors and nurses along with a medical director for events such as AJ Bell Triathlon World Series, London Landmarks Half Marathon, Velo Birmingham & Midlands and the Vitality Netball World Cup.

SportsMedics’ Medical Director is a Sports and Exercise Medicine Consultant who has been involved in a variety of elite and amateur sport including international-level events such as the London 2012 Olympics and the 2014 Glasgow Commonwealth Games. This has included overseeing medical services for both team and individual sports, as well as larger-scale mass participation events.
